Pretty uneventful week, at least picture-wise. We did find out that the kids will have to make up their snow days on 3 Saturdays over the next 3 months. Needless to say, the kids are devastated! {33/365}: Superbowl Sunday. Seahawks v. Broncos. We spent the afternoon with friends. Some we haven't seen in awhile. This is Josh with 2 of his longtime friends, Derek and Heath. We had a ton of great food, including wings. Great company. It's always fun to get all of our kids together, too. {34/365}: Fresh out of the bath.

Another week of snow, time off from work and kids out of school. We got 8-10 inches (more than last week). I have decided that snow is beautiful to look at, but I don't like it. Once is enough for me. I just couldn't stand the cold. And we weren't prepared. Looking back, I wish I had thought to make a warm crock pot meal and had picked up some hot chocolate from the grocery store (instead of ice cream). I wish our fireplace worked. The kids were out of school 3 days. Our basketball games were canceled - all week. Most of the time we stayed in our jammis. Funny how we always long for days like this, but when we finally get them, we feel like we are wasting our life away. I never feel that way about relaxing on the beach.

AuthorMy name is Kaci. I am a working mom of 3. Wife to Josh. Mom to Jackson, Cameron & Isabella. My life is dinner, homework, baseball, basketball, grocery lists, laundry, middle school, wine, video games, and schedules. I started this blog because I love taking pictures, and I needed a place to document our life. I wanted a place to write it all down, to remember little details so easily forgotten in the mad rush that is the life of a family of 5. Through my photos and words, I endeavor to capture our story.
