I can't change it. So I must accept it. This is the busiest time of year for our family. Basketball season wraps up and leads right into baseball. We have back-to-back birthdays (Cameron & Jack are 8 days apart). And somewhere in between that falls Easter and Spring Break. Cameron had a {very} successful sleepover. Considering I had 12 8-year old rowdy and competitive boys in my house all night long, there were no casualties (or catastrophes). It was cold, but the boys didn't seem to notice. They insisted on playing outside. Which worked well for us adults. There were some on the trampoline, some playing basketball, and a few even played a little pool in the garage. The highlight of the night....nerf wars. Always a big hit. We made it. And the following day, the Cannons had a double header. Thankfully, we won; a few of the parents were sending me the evil eye since the entire team had been at my house the night before, if we had lost, I was sure to be blamed. Then it was time for Jackson's birthday. No. 11. We (well Josh) planned a paintball party for Jack & 8 of his friends. The boys could not have had more fun. By the end of the day, they were trying to plan a time that they could all go back. Even a few Dads played. There were very minor injuries (mostly for the grownups - paintball aint for sissies). We grilled out hamburgers and hot dogs; then headed back to the house for a little driveway basketball. Jackson had a great birthday. And next... Easter. We spent the morning with family and friends at church for brunch and an Easter egg hunt. That evening, we went to Josh's parents for dinner. The 6 Tellefsen grandkids had their own Easter egg hunt. We did color coordinated eggs this year, which went great. Each kid had their own color and same number of eggs to find. Each color was age appropriate - the older kids' eggs were hidden a little harder. And that concludes this crazy, chaotic season. It goes by in a blur. The kids enjoyed their Easter baskets from the Easter bunny (I did not get pictures this year, sadly). Bella was very confused by the "Easter bunny" and asked repeatedly, "who got me this?" about her basket. Finally, once she even asked "Is you the Easter bunny? Did you get me this?" Smart girl.

AuthorMy name is Kaci. I am a working mom of 3. Wife to Josh. Mom to Jackson, Cameron & Isabella. My life is dinner, homework, baseball, basketball, grocery lists, laundry, middle school, wine, video games, and schedules. I started this blog because I love taking pictures, and I needed a place to document our life. I wanted a place to write it all down, to remember little details so easily forgotten in the mad rush that is the life of a family of 5. Through my photos and words, I endeavor to capture our story.
