So, tonight, I told her she had to finish her meat if she wanted to have a snack. I started clearing the table and turned my back on her for a second. When I turn around, she is suspiciously standing at the trash can. "I ate all of my meat. Can I have a snack now?" I lift the trash can lid and there is her meat sitting in a pile on top. I put more meat on her plate and sat her back at the table. While doing the dishes, she gets up and disappears to the bathroom. I wasn't really paying attention but noticed as soon as she returned, she proudly says, "I ate all of my meat." I head to the bathroom. She follows behind me proclaiming, "I didn't put my meat in there!" But there is her meat in the bathroom trash. "That's it. No snacks for you". Several minutes later, she has the nerve to ask me for a snack. "Can I have a cupcake?" Later, she asks if she can have Spaghetti O's. I concede, because she's gotta eat dinner, right? While eating her Spaghetti O's, she gets up from the table and comes around to me and whispers in my ear, "Thank you for letting me have a snack even when I didn't eat all my dinner. I'm sorry, I just didn't like it."
Sigh. This girl.

I started this blog because I love taking pictures, and I needed a place to document our life. I wanted a place to write it all down, to remember little details so easily forgotten in the mad rush that is the life of a family of 5. Through my photos and words, I endeavor to capture our story.
