{124/365}: In all the years my boys have been playing baseball, never have I witnessed one kid on any team get 3 home runs at each of his 3 at bats. But this kid did it this weekend. For a total of 5 home runs in 2 games!! I think that is pretty brag-worthy. And I think he's starting to remember why he loves baseball. {125/365}: Tuesday night at the ballfield. My little model. {126/365}: Dude Diary. {127/365}: Our 9th anniversary. My man bouquet was a hit. {128/365}: Cam had strep and had to get the penicillin shot in the butt. He wouldn't even come near me. I was not his favorite person. {129/365}: Celebrating our 9th anniversary at Steinhilber's. We went here on one of our very first dates. About 12 years ago! {130/365}: Baseball Moms are the best!

Strep is making its way through our household. Started with Jackson, who had a fever and hacking cough for 4 days. Last night I noticed a rash on Cameron's face that looked suspiciously like the strep rash. I stayed home today and took him to the doctor who confirmed my suspicions. He offered the penicillin shot, and the nurse mom in me thought that would be easier. Better than trying to remember to give him medicine for 10 days. Bad decision. It hurt. I could tell just by looking at it. And in the butt, too. And I felt so bad. He was so mad at me for about 20 minutes. "You lied!" He just kept saying. But he got over it very quickly. We went to breakfast afterwards at IHOP. He was so sweet and talkative. He even wanted to sit on the same side of the booth as me. He got pancakes and mixed all the syrup. I know he enjoyed our little brunch date.
{117/365}: On our way to a Cannons game. Baseball ready. {118/365}: "Mommy, wook at my homework". In case you can't tell, she was annoying Cameron. And I wasn't helping by taking their picture. {119/365}: Putting them to work. #107 why I wanted a son. (For the record, he volunteered and was pretty excited about helping. ) {120/365}: Her new toy from Mimi. Which she loves. {121/365}: Dinner at the ballpark with Mimi and her grandbabies. {122/365}: This table stresses me out. It's our dining room table and it's our catch all. The only time we ever completely clean it off is when we're expecting people over. I guess that's normal. It's our life. But it still stresses me out. {123/365}: He finally lost one of his two front teeth. And he has the cutest grin, if I say so myself. And the outfit... that's all him. Trying to embrace his style. At 7, he is all about it.

AuthorMy name is Kaci. I am a working mom of 3. Wife to Josh. Mom to Jackson, Cameron & Isabella. My life is dinner, homework, baseball, basketball, grocery lists, laundry, middle school, wine, video games, and schedules. I started this blog because I love taking pictures, and I needed a place to document our life. I wanted a place to write it all down, to remember little details so easily forgotten in the mad rush that is the life of a family of 5. Through my photos and words, I endeavor to capture our story.
