{194/365}: We had our All Star team party at the Morlangs. They have the best yard. Inground pool, swingset, trampoline. And still more room for wiffle ball game. Bella had fun with Carter playing restaurant and taking our orders. {195/365}: "Mommy, wha ya wan?" Taking orders at 3 Amigos. {196/365}: Passing time during their brothers' basketball practice. {197/365}: Watching All Stars game with Daddy. {198/365}: It doesn't get any better than this right here. {199/365}: Friday night Tides game with these guys. {200/365}: Weekend getaway. Just us two. Yorktown, VA.

{187/365}: Neighborhood friends and a lazy day in the pool (and no baseball). {188/365}: Monday morning. What you can't see is that she's already stripped off her diaper and went potty. Then sat down to color (butt naked) while Cameron ate cereal. {189/365}: Love her girly imagination. (But not the mess). {190/365}; It's official. This almost 3-year old is potty-trained. {191/365}: Playing some baseball. {192/365}: Watching some baseball. {193/365}: This says it all. Our All Star season ended on a bad note. Two losses, back to back. In the heat. 10-run ruled by both teams (one we expected, the other we should've won). Kaleb is very passionate about baseball. He had a few tears to shed after it was all over. (He rode home with me, Jackson, and Jared and he was all smiles and laughing on the way home. Kids.)
The weekend started off not looking too good. We were expecting a hurricane to hit on the Fourth. Bella woke up on the morning of the 3rd with a fever and upset tummy, so I ended up spending the day home with her. She was pretty sick and spent most of the day sleeping, which is highly unusual for her. The 7U had their championship game that night. Bella slept in her wagon (bless her heart, such a trooper). The boys dominated and 10-run ruled Western Branch for the win. I have the cutest third baseman (funny he plays the same position as his older brother, and the same position his Dad once played). The hurricane ended up not hitting us hard at all, and the weather could not have been more perfect for the Fourth. We had intended to spend the day cleaning. Josh wanted to work on the garage. Until we got a text from some friends inviting us for an impromptu pool party at their house. The boys had a great time, as did the adults. We finished up the night with pizza at the Nobles'. The fireworks had been moved to Saturday the 5th (in anticipation of Hurricane Arthur which was a dud). We headed down to the beach with Jodi and the kids to meet Mark & Cathy. We ended up hooking up with the Nobles & Chavis'. We decided to stay for the fireworks. We got to see two sets - the oceanfront and Sandbridge, so it was well worth it. It did get cold after the sun went down; Jackson was whiny, and Bella still doesn't like fireworks. But all in all, it was another great day. Beautiful weather, and even better company. We asked Cameron who he wanted to invite to the beach and he said "Jake!". They already had plans to meet other friends earlier that day but made it down to our spot later so that the boys could hang out. We finally had a stay-at-home day on Sunday. The boys had a basketball game at the field house (which we lost 39-9 but Jackson looked great and had fun, so that's all that matters). Followed by baseball practice for Jack & Kaleb.
The neighborhood kids, Darius & Malik, came over. The boys spent time in the pool and played some basketball in the driveway. It was a nice quiet end to the weekend. {180/365}: No baseball! And even though we did have an early basketball game, we spent the rest of the day enjoying the pool and relaxing. It was perfect weather. The boys had a great time. We grilled out, and I even dozed on a float while Bella napped. I needed a pool day. It was my first time in the pool all season! {181/365}: Sick day with Bella. She had a fever and eventually threw up. She is such a trooper, though. When she's not feeling well, I have to do whatever she wants. And this girl loves to cook for me. {182/365} Jackson playing third in the tournament. He was pretty excited, and I was happy for him. He did great, had a great hit over the center fielder's head. He was on top of the world that night. {183/365}: Mustang Blue won their first tournament! (Which means another week of baseball- yea!). This was a big win for Kempsville. And for these boys, who have lost the past 3 years. They were mashing the ball this week. Daddy and his two All Stars. I love this picture. {184/365} The very next night, Cameron's All Star team won their tournament at SCAA, going undefeated. Proud of our Kempsville 7U Red All Stars! Josh and I were on cloud nine. We celebrated the win by crashing Buffalo Wild Wings, party of 45! This was an epic moment, Brian drenching Coach Mark. Great season! I can't imagine what these boys will do next year! {185/365} : 4th of July. We were going to stay home and relax until we got a text from some friends inviting us over to their house for an impromptu pool party with some other baseball families. The boys (who had just wrapped up their baseball season the night prior) spent the day playing a game of wiffle ball. I have to mention that I love these kids and the relationship they are forming. They all get along so well and bonded instantly. (l-r: Gavin, Elijah, Scott, Jake, Nic, Dylan and Cameron). {186/365}: Day at the beach with family and friends. (l-r: Zack, Hayden, Jake & Cameron).
{173/365}: This was a fun, but busy, day. Jackson had a basketball game that morning. I am loving this indoor basketball thing. And so is Jackson. He had a great game and is improving every week. Cameron had 3 games back-to-back. If he won, he kept advancing. They won and went all the way to the championship. And won that! It was so exciting. They played so hard, too. {174/365}: More celebrating with the league VP's after Monday night's practice. Wearing our new tourney shirts. {175/365}: She loved her new skirt and kept twirling around in circles. One might think with two older brothers she's destined to be a tomboy. But let me tell ya - she is such a girly girl. {176/365}: When you go peepee on the potty and get to choose from the candy basket. {177/365}: "Mom. Take one more. " He can be such a ham when it comes to posing with her. Any other time, forget it! {178/365}: This was my Friday. Complete heart block. Fun stuff. {179/365}: Josh's 35th birthday. How else do you celebrate when your life revolves around your children? Take them to see Transformers 4 (longest movie ever, by the way). With your longtime friends.

AuthorMy name is Kaci. I am a working mom of 3. Wife to Josh. Mom to Jackson, Cameron & Isabella. My life is dinner, homework, baseball, basketball, grocery lists, laundry, middle school, wine, video games, and schedules. I started this blog because I love taking pictures, and I needed a place to document our life. I wanted a place to write it all down, to remember little details so easily forgotten in the mad rush that is the life of a family of 5. Through my photos and words, I endeavor to capture our story.
