Another memorable Easter in the books. We kept up tradition and started at church with Mimi and Aunt Jodi. We decided to sleep in and missed the brunch. We realized in hindsight it wasn't worth it and will go back to attending the earlier service next year. Although we did get more time to enjoy the Easter baskets. Bella woke up before all of us and repeatedly checked all the doors/porches to see if the Easter bunny had arrived. She had finally driven Josh & I crazy, so as soon as we got up, ironically the bunny made his visit! I sure do love how much she loves life and keeps all of the holidays fun. She is super dramatic and gets so excited. The boys, especially Jackson, are getting a little too old for some things. But we all love to watch her experience it all. She opened the front door for maybe the 15th time and let out a screech. Jack was not yet awake and probably would have been ok if he missed out on this, but Bella would have none of that and made sure he was up. Here's the group photo. We are missing quite a few this year, including our extended "family" that usually joins us. I am amazed at how tall Jackson looks here. I was wearing 2 inch heels! It was Cam's idea to wear his bowtie. He loves it and always has to wear Josh's Oakley's to complete the outfit. Bella and I had just gotten fresh haircuts. After church, we went over the grandparents house for our annual Easter egg hunt. They hide different colored eggs for each kid so it's fair. This year, though, Pop Pop made it harder. We all had to pitch in to help Jackson find his last 2 eggs. Bella has been wanting to wear my glasses lately. The Easter bunny brought her her very own pair. Then we went back inside for a mini scavenger hunt that ended with the kids finding their hidden baskets. Shortly after this picture was taken, Bella said she had a headache and wanted to lay down. She ended the evening with a mild fever and threw up in the driveway as we were leaving. Never a dull moment in this family. And then the annual cousins photo.

AuthorMy name is Kaci. I am a working mom of 3. Wife to Josh. Mom to Jackson, Cameron & Isabella. My life is dinner, homework, baseball, basketball, grocery lists, laundry, middle school, wine, video games, and schedules. I started this blog because I love taking pictures, and I needed a place to document our life. I wanted a place to write it all down, to remember little details so easily forgotten in the mad rush that is the life of a family of 5. Through my photos and words, I endeavor to capture our story.
