It's official. I suck at 365. It's a lot harder than it looks. I missed yet another day this week. In fact, I actually fibbed on a few of these over the past two weeks. They may not have been taken on the exact date that I claim. It is very daunting to not only remember to take a photo daily, but deciding on what to record each day. One night I just walked around and took random pictures of things around the house. I am fully aware of the purpose of this project - it's not just meant to document our year. It's also a photography project, which means it is supposed to broaden my photography skills. I just wish I had more time. I began this project with the intention of posting weekly on Saturdays. Lately it has been a struggle to get it done before Sunday evening. (As a matter of fact, it is Sunday at 9:13 p.m. and I am flippin exhausted. And very irritable. And Cameron has come out of his room 3 times in the past 5 minutes to ask me when I'm coming to bed. And I'm about to lose it. I shouldn't even be doing this right now, but here I am.) But I'm not giving up. Because despite the road blocks, I am thoroughly enjoying this. I'm enjoying looking back on our day-to-day and realizing how great our life really is. The little reminders I need to get by sometimes. Like now, right this very minute. So here is our last week. In a very condensed version. {68/365}: Like mother, like daughter. She's started twirling her hair. {70/365}: Minecraft. A favorite game these days. {71/365}: It's hard not to trip going up the stairs. She likes to sit with her babies and toys at the bottom of the stairs. It's really pretty cute. And I just love her bed head. {72/365}: Penne pasta and butter. And lots and lots of parmesan cheese. It's their thing. {73/365}: I'll take one of each, please. {74/365}: Collecting sticks. You know, to kill the zombies. {75/365}: Every game day, Gabe brings surprise goody bags for the kids.
Bella was super excited about hers.

AuthorMy name is Kaci. I am a working mom of 3. Wife to Josh. Mom to Jackson, Cameron & Isabella. My life is dinner, homework, baseball, basketball, grocery lists, laundry, middle school, wine, video games, and schedules. I started this blog because I love taking pictures, and I needed a place to document our life. I wanted a place to write it all down, to remember little details so easily forgotten in the mad rush that is the life of a family of 5. Through my photos and words, I endeavor to capture our story.
