Project 365 Week 7

Another week has passed.  As I sit here typing this, the boys are in school.  Yes, it's Saturday.  It's a make-up snow day.  They were absolutely devastated.  Cameron cried the entire morning.  He's been a little emotional these days.  And very clingy with me.  Telling me "I miss you when I'm not with you".  Not sure what that is about and hoping it's only a phase.  He's always been a momma's boy.  But he puts on such a tough facade most of the time.  Sometimes it's hard to remember he's only 6.

Bella is playing with her babies and her kitchen.  And of course, UP is on in the background.  I can nearly recite the script.

{40/365}:  Bella wanted to go outside.  She even dressed herself.  (Note: that is a shirt she is wearing.  She doesn't own any tube top dresses.  She put her whole body through the neck).
And not to mention it was like 30 degrees outside.  Nice try, Bella.

{41/365}:   I've been looking forward to this for a month.  The return of the The Walking Dead.

{42/365}:  Jackson's homework from the other night that I just came across.  Gotta love the honesty (although I think he was just trying to talk his way out of the situation.  Kid's gonna be in sales, just like his Daddy).

{43/365}: Making cookies with Bella.  She did really good with the mixer.  Of course she kept wanting to sneak some of the dough.

{44/365}: Thursday night basketball game.  Heat v. Spartans.  We lost.  They were really good.  And big.  Very big.  Cameron busted his butt, but he just kept getting beat up.  He gets so upset.  He cried (again) at the end of the game.  He hates losing.

{45/365}: Cameron's test for high brown belt. He did fantastic.  This is his last belt (until he returns for the summer and will hopefully get his junior black belt).  The next week he joins Jackson at Kidzquest.  He just wants to be around his big brother.

I feel the need to also mention that today was Valentine's Day.  We spent it at Cam's belt test followed by basketball practice.  The life of parents.  Josh and the kids surprised me this morning with my present - a necklace that I had always wanted.  With all 3 of the kids' names on stamped metal.  Best present ever.
{46/365}: Her new "baby".  Ellie (the elephant).  It's actually Sydney's.  She left it here last weekend and Bella has slept with it ever since. Sydney might pass it on to her favorite cousin.

My name is Kaci.  I am a working mom of 3.  Wife to Josh.  Mom to Jackson, Cameron & Isabella.  My life is dinner, homework, baseball, basketball, grocery lists, laundry,  middle school, wine, video games, and schedules.  I started this blog because I love taking pictures, and I needed a place to document our life.  I wanted a place to write it all down, to remember little details so easily forgotten in the mad rush that is the life of a family of 5.  Through my photos and words, I endeavor to capture our story.
