It snowed. For Virginia Beach, it means school closes for days. Everything shuts down. Even Three Amigos. People rush to the grocery store to load up on water and bread. It means cabin fever for some of us. It means sleeping in and taking naps and layering up to go outside and then leaving a pile of soggy, wet clothes in the hallway and drinking hot chocolate to get warm. It means snow ball fights and building snow forts. And it means sledding. Which turned out to be the highlight of this winter storm. I hate going out in the cold. And it was really cold. But I sucked it up so I could see the kids sled, for the first time really. One of our friends suggested a local golf course. It was packed but well worth it. Bella surprised me with her courage and how much she absolutely loved it. I was also surprised that the boys didn't complain about the cold and had a blast. And yes, there were indoor forts as well. Eventually we were able to venture out the house. We had a family bowling night. And Bella was so happy to be back at dance.

AuthorMy name is Kaci. I am a working mom of 3. Wife to Josh. Mom to Jackson, Cameron & Isabella. My life is dinner, homework, baseball, basketball, grocery lists, laundry, middle school, wine, video games, and schedules. I started this blog because I love taking pictures, and I needed a place to document our life. I wanted a place to write it all down, to remember little details so easily forgotten in the mad rush that is the life of a family of 5. Through my photos and words, I endeavor to capture our story.
