My knee patient (husband) is doing well. He is 2 days post meniscus repair. We took his bandage off this morning and he got to shower (yea for me). Aside from swelling, his knee looks good. I'm worried that he is walking too much, without crutches. Just praying that he doesn't overdo it.
For the first time in what feels like months, we have zero plans this weekend. I do need to start preparing for Thanksgiving. My sister and I host every year at my house. This will be our fourth year. It still makes me a little nervous. I was hoping to get out to take some pictures (we have none of the 5 of us and I need to do Christmas cards; you would think as much as I take pictures) but it's supposed to be really cold this weekend. And with Josh's bum knee. I can just imagine cold, whiny kids, an irritated husband limping around on crutches, and me yelling at everybody and then crying. Probably wouldn't make for a very good family portrait. I've never been good at indoor photos. It's definitely a challenge for me. We have terrible lighting in our house. Something to think about.

AuthorMy name is Kaci. I am a working mom of 3. Wife to Josh. Mom to Jackson, Cameron & Isabella. My life is dinner, homework, baseball, basketball, grocery lists, laundry, middle school, wine, video games, and schedules. I started this blog because I love taking pictures, and I needed a place to document our life. I wanted a place to write it all down, to remember little details so easily forgotten in the mad rush that is the life of a family of 5. Through my photos and words, I endeavor to capture our story.
