My dapper little fellow on his way to the annual Drillers banquet.
This year the boys had matching pink bowties to show their love and support of two of our Moms who were recently diagnosed with breast cancer.
These are about the only pictures on my camera these days.
This past weekend, Jackson injured himself in his game (it was actually a reinjury of an old injury he had from the Fall). This time, I took him to Urgent Care, and he was diagnosed with a muscle strain of his right hip/glute.
So I'm not sure about when or why it started, she became concerned about keeping her room clean. Maybe a little obsessed. She learned how to make her bed and now refuses to sleep under her comforter in order to avoid messing it up. She sleeps on top of it with a blanket. Every single night. She arranges her animals just right. And her room is always picked up, organized and clean. What can I say? She gets it from her momma.
Our weeks are busy and consist of : practice, laundry, dance, grocery trips, menu planning, haircuts, chores, homework. Our weekends consist of this. For now. Until the next season. 4 games per weekend. 4 teams. 3 locations. Sometimes there's conflicts and we're rushing from one game to the next, hoping to catch some of this game and that.
Another year. Another Project 52.
The other night. Josh & I are driving home from the grocery store and pull up on Cam walking home after the activity bus dropped him off. So, of course, as we pulled up alongside him, I rolled down my window and said (in my best manly voice), "Hey, boy. You want some candy? I got some really cute puppies in here." Without missing a beat, he kept on walking and just responds, "Kids don't want candy or puppies. You got free wifi?"
It's that time of year again. Josh & I missed the boys' first games this weekend; we were in D.C. for a wedding. Cam's first field house basketball game was a big win. Those Baseball Dudes are back and won their first game.
My name is Kaci. I am a working mom of 3. Wife to Josh. Mom to Jackson, Cameron & Isabella. My life is dinner, homework, baseball, basketball, grocery lists, laundry, middle school, wine, video games, and schedules. I started this blog because I love taking pictures, and I needed a place to document our life. I wanted a place to write it all down, to remember little details so easily forgotten in the mad rush that is the life of a family of 5. Through my photos and words, I endeavor to capture our story.
