They're obsessed with everything basketball. It's all sports, all the time. I'm not complaining. There's no time for video games. And they're content to play basketball in the driveway. Every night. As soon as we walk in the door. I can't even park in our driveway anymore. Cameron goes around on his bike gathering the neighborhood kids. I have to drag them inside for dinner and homework. They come in all hot and sweaty and red faced. Usually arguing. All of a sudden, he started calling him "Dad". And I see some shifting of Jackson's attention from me to Josh. I knew this day would come. He's always been his momma's boy; but, someone told me there would come a time when he will start to turn to his Dad for answers. I think that time is coming. I'm only sad because I see how quickly he is growing up. But I couldn't be more proud of the young boy he is becoming. Or of the unbreakable bond he is forming with his father. I don't know what to make of the competitiveness of boys. Sure us females are competitive, but in a different kind of way. And over way different things. Boys are quick to throw blows. But where us girls can hold a grudge; with boys, it's all forgotten about in a few minutes.

AuthorMy name is Kaci. I am a working mom of 3. Wife to Josh. Mom to Jackson, Cameron & Isabella. My life is dinner, homework, baseball, basketball, grocery lists, laundry, middle school, wine, video games, and schedules. I started this blog because I love taking pictures, and I needed a place to document our life. I wanted a place to write it all down, to remember little details so easily forgotten in the mad rush that is the life of a family of 5. Through my photos and words, I endeavor to capture our story.
